Graduate Engineer Trainee –Maintenance

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant Engineering discipline
We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) – Maintenance to join our Maintenance Department. The selected candidate will receive practical training in industrial maintenance operations, equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and machinery management.
The candidate will work closely with senior maintenance engineers and technicians to ensure smooth functioning of machinery, equipment, and plant operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Identify equipment faults and support troubleshooting activities.
- Monitor machine performance and maintain maintenance records.
- Follow safety procedures and industrial maintenance standards.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to minimize machine downtime.
- Prepare daily maintenance reports and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment efficiency.
Must Have
- Basic knowledge of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office).
Nice to have
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and control panels.
- Understanding of CMMS or maintenance management software.
- Knowledge of TPM and 5S practices.
- Basic knowledge of SAP or ERP systems.
- Knowledge of PLC and automation systems.
- Previous industrial training or internship experience.
