Please observe below Clause Pattern:
SVOd: Verb + Object (= to-infinitive clause – having Subject)
Below verbs can be used to form above pattern:
(can’t) bear, bother, dread, fancy, hate, help, intend, like, loathe, long, love, mean, prefer, want, wish.
E.g.:
1. He can’t bear them to laugh at him.
2. He is bothering me to do it.
3. I fancy our team to win this match.
4. I’d hate you to think I was trying to fool you.
5. I would hate him to find it out.
6. I’d like them to win this match.
