Please observe below Clause Pattern:

SVOdA pattern: Verb + Object + Adverbial (= often, a prepositional phrase, especially, of direction)

Below verbs can be used to form above pattern: 

bring, catch, chuck, cram, direct, drag, drive, elbow, escort, fling, get, hoist, jab, jot, keep, lay, lead, leave, place, point, position, prop, put, rip, see, send, set, shove, show, sit, smear, stand, stick, store, take, talk, throw, thrust, tie, treat.

E.g.:

1.      He brought the box into the hall.

2.      Her question caught me off (my) guard.

3.      Chuck these useless things in the dustbin.

4.      He crammed everything into that small box.

5.      Those remarks must have been directed at us.

Additional exercise: To reinforce pattern into your brain you can practice saying word groups you formed 4-5 times aloud. Use correct pronunciation, use word linking technique, apply stressed timed rhythm.
