Weak function words pronunciation

Study the pronunciation of weak function words. If needed Utter them 4-5 times aloud:

Please Note:

Many function words in English have two forms of pronunciation: a full-length form and a weak form. The full-length form is used when these words are spoken in isolation, with the vowel sound given its complete value. The weak form, on the other hand, is the way fluent speakers typically pronounce these words in connected speech, where the vowel sound is reduced.

It is important to note that the weak form is considered the standard pronunciation in natural speech. Using the full-length form unnecessarily (except for emphasis or to highlight meaning) may make your English sound unnatural. Below is a list of function words with their weak forms, shown on the right-hand side of the arrows.
