Please observe below Clause Pattern:
SVOdA: Verb + Object + Adverbial (= an -ing participle clause)
Below verbs can be used to form above pattern:
Catch, describe, discover, feel, find, get, have, hear, imagine, keep, leave, like, listen to, notice, observe, overhear, perceive, picture, present, save, see, send, smell, spot, spy, stop, want, watch.
E.g.:
1. They caught him stealing money.
2. She described him helping her with housework.
3. The police discovered him lying on the roadside.
4. I felt myself getting irritated.
5. I felt something moving up my spine.
6. They found his watch lying on the table.
7. He turned the computer on and tried to get the program running again.
8. They will have you working for more than 8 hours a day?
9. I heard her complaining about you to the boss.
10. I can’t imagine him becoming my boss.
