Please observe below Clause Pattern:
SVC: Link-like verb + Describer complement (= Adjective phrase)
Below verbs can be used to form above pattern:
be born, blush, burn, die, skip, fall, fall down, freeze, glow, hang, lie, loom, pass, play, plead, rest, run, sit, slam, spring, stand, stand up, stare, survive.
E.g.:
1. He was born blind.
2. She blushed scarlet/bright red.
3. The fire is burning low.
4. He died young/poor.
5. It was a serious accident, but most of the passengers escaped unhurt.
6. She fell asleep during the meeting.
7. He fell down dead.
8. The ground has frozen hard.
9. The fire glowed white.
10. The curtains hung loose.
