Please observe below Clause Pattern:
SVOdA: Verb + Object + Adverbial (= Prepositional phrase)
Below verbs can be used to form above pattern:
bring, get, keep, leave, place, put, throw.
E.g.:
1. That accident brought him into conflict with his boss.
2. Who got you into this mess?
3. She likes keeping people in suspense.
4. What they said left him in a dilemma.
5. The transport strike has placed them in a difficult situation.
6. What has put him in such a bad mood?
7. The news threw everybody into confusion.
