Please observe below Clause Pattern:
SVOdA: Verb + Object + Adverbial (= a bare in-infinitive clause or an -ing participle clause)
Below verbs can be used to form above pattern:
feel, hear, listen to, notice, overhear, see, watch.
E.g.:
1. I felt something move/moving up my spine.
2. I heard him shout/shouting.
3. See listened to him sing/singing.
4. I didn’t notice them come/coming in.
5. I overheard them talk/talking.
6. I saw him cross/crossing the road.
7. He watched her dance/dancing.
