Please observe below Clause Pattern:

SVOiOd: Verb + oneself + Object

Below verbs can be used to form above pattern: 

allow, ask, buy, cause, cook, deny, forgive, get, pour, refuse.

E.g.:

1.      She hasn’t allowed herself any chocolates for some time now.

2.      You ask yourself that question.

3.      He bought himself a new shirt.

4.      I wonder why I caused myself all this trouble.

5.      She cooked herself a nice dinner.
