Please observe below Clause Pattern:

SVOdA: Verb + Object + Adverbial (= a perfect infinitive clause)

Below verbs can be used to form above pattern: 

admit, be agreed, allege, announce, assume, believe, calculate, certify, claim, confess, confirm, consider, declare, demonstrate, be discovered, disclose, estimate, expect, explain, fancy, feel, find, guarantee, guess, hear, hold, imagine, indicate, judge, know, learn, maintain, mean, note, notice, predict, presume, proclaim, promise, pronounce, be proved, reckon, recognize, report, (be) reputed, reveal, (be) rumoured, (be) said, be seen, sense, show, state, suppose, suspect, take testify, (be) thought, tip, understand, warn.

E.g.:

1.      He admitted his action to have been wrong.

2.      He admitted that his action was wrong.

3.      They assumed his arguments to have been sound.

4.      They assumed that his arguments were sound.

5.      They still believe him to have been responsible for all this.

6.      They still believe that he was responsible for all this.

7.      He confessed the whole plan to have been a failure.

8.      He confessed that the whole plan was a failure.

9.      They confirmed that contract to have been cancelled.

10.   They confirmed that the contract has been cancelled.

Additional exercise: To reinforce pattern into your brain you can practice saying word groups you formed 4-5 times aloud. Use correct pronunciation, use word linking technique, apply stressed timed rhythm.
